Obituary of Beverly Ann Price Schaffield

Beverly Ann Price Schaffield, 75, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on December 26, 2024. Funeral service will be held at Ponte Vedra Church (76 S Roscoe Blvd, Ponte Vedra, FL 32082) on Saturday, January 25 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jacquie Leveron officiating. Beverly was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Robert L. Price and Doris M. Price (nee Robinson) on April 12, 1949. She attended Neshaminy High School and graduated in 1967. She was an entertainer to her core, bringing laughter and drama to everything she did. Since moving to Jacksonville, she became an active member of Ponte Vedra Church, involved in the choir and Stephen Ministry. She was known by many for her work bringing musical performances to churches and schools throughout Jacksonville Beach. Her favorite hobby was making others laugh. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Schaffield and her sister, Donna Jean Price Thomas. She is survived by her daughter, Dorianne Schaffield (Jahshawn) of New York; her brother, Gary Price (Candace), of Pennsylvania; her niece Tracy Thomas Cossabone (Arthur), of New Jersey; and her grandson Michael Schaffield (Rachel), of New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Beverly may be made to Ponte Vedra Church at 76 S Roscoe Blvd, Ponte Vedra, FL 32082 or VITAS Hospice Community Connection through their website, vitascommunityconnection.org.  The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Discovery Commons at San Pablo and the doctors at Cancer Specialists of North Florida.
