Dennis Murray Cluley,66, passed away April 21, 2024. Dennis was born in Lansing, MI on 9/13/1957 to his loving parents Carl & Betty (Florence) Cluley. He is survived by two brothers; Gary (Debbie) & Carlton. His oldest brother David passed in 2022 (despite the stem cell transplant donation from Dennis). Also, sisters-in-law Virginia & Debbie, nephew Kevin & nieces Amanda & Christin. Dennis's hard work ethics began in high school and continued throughout his life. His lifelong love of animals and dreams of running his own business came to fruition in the early 2000's when he opened his own successful pet store in Jacksonville, FL. His other employment included Michigan National Bank, Barnett Bank, Bank of America and Merrill/Lynch. He loved taking walks on the beach with his dog and would relax with yard work and hanging at his pool with friends. Most of all he loved his friends & family. He was always there for you if you needed him. Lifelong friends included Pat Muysenberg, Mary Ferguson and Barbara Grant. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and of course his devoted dog Abby. A Memorial Service for Dennis will be held Friday, May 3rd 3:30 PM, at Eternity Funeral Home and Crematory in Jacksonville Florida. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to: Friends of Jacksonville Animals in Dennis’s name.
