Obituary of Cesareo Plaza

Cesareo “Cesar” Plaza Garcia Cesareo Plaza known to his loved ones as Cesar, passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 85 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on November 3, 1938, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Cesar was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a genuine friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Cesar is survived by his daughter Lily Mendes, his son Cesar Plaza Jr, his stepson Javier Cruz, his daughter Carmen Plaza, his daughter Daisy Plaza and several other children. He was preceded in death by his daughter Justina Plaza. A viewing and service to honor Cesar’s life was held at Eternity Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Florida on February 7, 2024. Eternity Funeral Home had been entrusted with assisting the family during this difficult time. Cesar Plaza will be remembered for his loving personality and his dedication to his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Thank you all who joined the family in celebrating Cesar’s life and paying your respects at the scheduled services and also those who were unable to join, the family is grateful for your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.
