Debbie Sharlene Ashley Was Born April 7, 1958, To Lewis And Maudine Nora Mitchell In Jacksonville, Florida. Baptized At An Early Age , Debbie Gave Herself To The Lord, Knew His Word And Carried Them In Her Heart Daily. Her Favorite Scripture Was Revelation 21: Then I Saw “A New Heaven And A New Earth,” For The First Heaven And The First Earth Had Passed Away, And There Was No Longer Any Sea. I Saw The Holy City, The New Jerusalem, Coming Down Out Of Heaven From God, Prepared As A Bride Beautifully Dressed For Her Husband ‘He Will Wipe Every Tear From Their Eyes. There Will Be No More Death’ Or Mourning Or Crying Or Pain, For The Old Order Of Things Has Passed Away. Debbie Graduated From Thortonwood High School. She Was A Creative Artist And Stylist In Here Own Right. She Was Self-Taught and Driven To Succeed In Everything She Pursued. Debbie Loved Cooking, Drawing, Knitting And Lived Life Dancing. She Worked and Volunteered Her Time At The Salvation Army And The Food Pantry At Love Missionary Baptist Church. She Loved Meeting New People, No One Was A Stranger To Debbie. She Also Worked At The Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex, Brevard County School System, and Harvey’s Grove. Debbie Has Always Worked In The Public Sector. Her Love For Life And God’s People Was Unparalleled. Debbie’s Smile Brought Happiness To All Who Encountered Her, She Was Truly A Beacon Of Light. Both Parents And Brother Victor Mitchell Preceded Her In Death. Debbie Leaves To Cherish Her Memory: Her Son Kenneth Lewis Cottrell Mitchell of Melbourne, Fl., Brother Tony Mitchell Of Chicago, IL., Sister Mary Mitchell Of Jacksonville FL., Brother Bernard Mitchell (Sherrie) Of Jacksonville, FL., Zirnita (Dewayne) Mallory, Tampa, FL. Debbie Leaves Behind 3 Grandchildren Brianna, S’mya, And Brittany And A Host Of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews And Cousins And Very Close Friends.
