Bennie Farell Kemp passed away on Thursday, August 24th 2023 at his home in Jacksonville, Florida. Ben was 82 and he was born on November 16th, 1940 in Safford, Arizona. Ben was a proud Marine who served 3 tours of duty in Viet Nam. He was also a Mason Grand Master in Rockford, Illinois. Ben enjoyed hunting and fishing and other hobbies such as being an avid coin collector.
He is preceded by his parents, Howard Claud Kemp and Peggy Emmaline Ray. Brothers, Sergeant J.J Kemp and Sergeant Doyle Wayne Kemp. Step children Lori White and Michael White. He is survived by his wife Gracie Kemp, his step children, Billy White, Melissa Quasnick and David White. His grandchildren, Shaun White, Joshua White, Christopher Brown, Alicia Robertson, Nicholas White and Courtney Brown. Nieces, Gerri Kemp and Louetta Kemp. Numerous great grandchildren and friends.
A memorial service is being planned, no date has been established.
