Obituary of Kelly Robert Moore

Kelly was born January 28, 1956, to Anne Carroll (Morris) and Robert Moore who cherished and loved him unconditionally. Kelly was born smiling like he had a secret that no one else knew. Kelly never smiled bigger than when his baby sister, Karen (Tippy), joined the family and made it whole. Kelly took care of, and protected Karen and you very seldom saw one without the other. Kelly attended Flushing Michigan schools until his family relocated to Jacksonville, Florida. Kelly established many lifelong friendships in Michigan and as everyone knows, Kelly remained a diehard Michigan sports fan! Kelly had an infectious laugh that was contagious and a good heart. Despite some challenges, Kelly worked hard to overcome them and was on track toward that goal at the time of his death. Kelly often spoke of his family and how he wanted them to be proud of him. Kelly never lost sight of what was most important … his family. Kelly is survived by his daughter, Becca Moore (fiancé Michael Bittof) who brought immense joy to his life, beloved ex-wife Lori Moore, two precious granddaughters Brylee and Raelynn, who brought sunshine to his life every day, special sister Karen Rickard, niece Sydney Rickard and nephew Peter Rickard (fiancée Charlee), and many cousins and friends. Kelly was preceded in death by his mother Anne and father Robert. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lori Moore, 4720 Brierwood Rd., Jacksonville, FL, 32257 to establish a college fund for Kelly’s granddaughters, Brylee and Raelynn. The family asks that you remember Kelly when you see someone smile and to reach out to help those who are struggling with addiction. It is a disease that impacts so many.
