Obituary of Dennis Jay Dunn

Dennis Jay Dunn, 65, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away at home on June 11, 2023. Memorial service will be held on June 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm officiated by Reverend Ron Zimmer at Eternity Funeral Home at 4856 Oakdale Avenue, Jacksonville, FL. Dennis was born in Jacksonville, FL to Raymond and Lucille (Thompson) Dunn on September 23, 1957. He attended Andrew Jackson High School and graduated in 1976. He had a lengthy career in the autobody industry. Dennis is survived by his brothers, Ray (Patty) of Lake Helen; Lewis (Alice) of Live Oak; Barry (Noelle) of Jacksonville; sisters, Margaret (Ron) Zimmer of Sebring; Dorothy (Rex) McDaniel of Jacksonville; Jeri Mancuso of Jacksonville; many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Dennis supported South Africa Children’s Resiliency Project and wanted that to continue upon his death. Donations in his memory can be made at sacrp.org.
