Samuel Cotto Jr, 47, of Jacksonville, FL, best known as Sammy, passed away on June 8th 2023 at 3:59pm after a long battle with Cancer. Sammy was born on May 15 1976 to Samuel Cotto and Virginia Cotto in Bronx, New York. In 1995, he met the love of his life and wife of 28 years Candi and they wed in 2002 going on to have three children, Samuel III (Trey), Justin, and Joshua. Sammy was a force of nature, determined to provide for his wife and kids and give them the life he felt they deserved along with his unconditional unmatched love. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often proudly mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Trey, Justin, Joshua and Candi and always tried his best to support them and show them how loved they were. Sammy was also passionate about wrestling, music, fitness, and movies, and could often be found lifting weights when he wasn’t at home. Anyone who knew Sammy knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He was predeceased by Samuel Cotto Sr. He is survived by his wife Candi Cotto, his mother Virginia Cotto, his sister Rachel Cotto, his children Samuel Cotto III (Trey), Justin Cotto, Joshua Cotto, and his granddaughter Eliana C.
